Rhetorical Analysis

                The rhetorical analysis on a source, was one of the first major assignment and was relieved and felt great when I accomplished the assignment. The reason why I felt that way was because it meant that I was able to find a good source and write about what the source said and the purpose. My writing process for this assignment was the same for all my other papers in which I would write the paper ahead of time and then I would wait a while then I would re-read the paper over again to see all of the errors that I had done. A new thing that obstructed my process is that I had someone else read my paper to give me insight on the errors that I had not noticed and that slowed down my process because I had to change certain aspects of the paper. I made plenty of changes to the cover page and added a cover page between drafts. The revision was effective because I changed the errors in my paper that would have given me a lower grade if I kept the run off sentences in.  I felt accomplished and will use the aspect of getting good a source in papers.

Community Problem Report

The Community Problem was what I believe next to the project the longest and most important aspect of the class. The report was about our topic and we had to present, give facts and explain the topic problems and give some sort of resolution to the problem. I feel great having accomplished this assignment since I had to write 5 pages’ worth of information and did not know that I had it in me. The writing process was obstructed due to the fact that I had to get scholarly sources instead of just googling the topic and picking a few sort of reliable websites, but it helped me in the long run because now I have the ability of picking good sources in my papers. The changes that I kept making between drafts was that I kept changing the amount of victims and their stories in my paper. The revision process helped me eliminate the aspect of my paper that seemed to repeat, also some grammatical errors. I felt accomplished after finishing because I had done the longest paper that I have ever done and will use the same researching style that I learned for my future long papers.

Opinion piece

           The opinion piece was our opportunity to give our opinions about our topic and what we could do to help solve the problems that our topic faced. I feel that having stated my opinion on the topic that was a relief because reading so many sad stories about cyberbullying gave me a soft spot towards it. This assignment facilitated my progress because it gave me an opportunity to say what I felt about my topic so the word flowed out on to the paper. The change that I made through each draft was that I changed the aspect of too harsh of a tone in the paper against the bullies themselves. My revision process was effective because I misspelled certain words and repeated certain parts of the paper again. I feel that I have accomplished the purpose of the paper because it was writing my opinion and I successfully did that.  The skill that I learned about writing a well-informed opinion about a topic I will use in real life and if I ever need to write an opinion piece again but I will certainly use when arguing with friends over certain topics.

Annotated Bibliography

                The annotated bibliography was a challenge finding a lot of scholarly sources and reading them thoroughly. That was surely the most time consuming assignment. I felt that I accomplished the assignment successfully after reading tons of sources and picking out the best ones. My writing process was obstructed with the idea of picking out great sources and having to delete some of the already written ones because they weren’t strong as the others. The changes that I made in between my drafts was that I deleted some sources because they didn’t seem necessary. My revision process was effective because I changed the aspects of my sources to match my topic. I feel that I overall accomplished the purpose because the community problem report was much easier to write after finishing this. I learned how to find scholarly and good sources and will use that in future papers that require sources.

Project

                The Project was an overall success working with other students with topics similar to mine seemed to be an ease. I feel that me and my group overall accomplished the purpose of the assignment which was informing others about our topic. My writing process was obstructed because we had to work with others and everyone has their own work style. Our group made plenty of changes between our drafts and would continue to try and improve certain aspects of our project, like the layout and what exactly went on in the poster. Our revision was effective because we noticed many grammatical errors and fixed them before submitting our final work. We could have added more graphics to catch the audience better but overall we believed that it was successful. I feel that I accomplished the purpose of the assignment in getting others informing about caffeine and how dangerous it is. I learned how to communicate with a group with different ideas better.
